This attractive BEA button features:

A gilt brass button (typical of BEA ground crew and some cabin crew uniforms).

The early-style “BEA” monogram and crown set within a circular roped border, crisply moulded and well-preserved.

Original metal loop shank on the reverse, secure and intact.
These buttons were worn on BEA staff service jackets and overcoats during the airline’s operations before merging with BOAC in 1974 to form British Airways.
