This is a full-size Kingdom of Greece Distinguished Conduct Medal, instituted in the 1950s for the Second World War to recognise exceptional bravery, leadership, and distinguished service by Greek military personnel. Awarded during the Greco-Italian War and subsequent fighting in 1941, the medal reflects Greece’s determined resistance during the early stages of the conflict. Struck in bronze-coloured metal, the medal retains crisp detail on both sides, including the obverse design and inscription on the reverse. It is fitted with the correct period-style ribbon in yellow and red.
Condition
Very good, with sharp detail and light, even toning to the bronze finish. Ribbon remains relatively clean. The medal shows only minor handling marks consistent with age.
