Fife and Forfar Imperial Yeomanry (1901-1908 Pattern) Brass Button, King’s Crown (20mm)

Brass uniform button of the Fife and Forfar Imperial Yeomanry, produced to the short-lived 1901–1908 pattern introduced following the coronation of Edward VII. The Imperial Yeomanry was formed in 1901, and buttons of this type were worn on full dress and service uniforms during the early Edwardian period, prior to the regiment’s reorganisation into the Territorial Force in 1908.

Die-struck in brass with clear relief, the button displays the regiment’s insignia surmounted by the King’s Crown, reflecting its Edward VII-era use. The reverse is fitted with a fixed shank for attachment to uniform garments.

Very good, with crisp detail and patina. Light surface wear is present, consistent with age and use, and the shank remains intact and secure.
