Border Regiment (1906-1959 Pattern) Officer’s Silver Plate Collar Badge

Officer’s silver-plate collar badge to the Border Regiment, made to the long-serving 1906–1959 pattern worn up until the regiment’s amalgamation into the King’s Own Royal Border Regiment in 1959. The badge features the regiment’s distinctive laurel wreath and Maltese cross design, incorporating the Chinese Dragon and 15 battle honours. As an officer’s quality example, it is produced in silver plate and enamel with fine, crisp detailing and a bright finish, typical of privately purchased mess and service dress insignia. The reverse is fitted with the correct lugs for mounting.
