2nd Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment collar badges worn presumably in the late 19th to the early 20th century. The design features the Stafford knot, a long-standing emblem of the county. Struck in brass metal for other ranks’ service dress, these badges were worn in pairs on the collars of tunics and battledress. Reverse retains original lug for attachment. Different from the standard collar, its size is noticeably smaller
