An original First World War Canadian Expeditionary Force collar badge for the 24th (Victoria Rifles) Battalion, manufactured by Tiptaft of Birmingham. This CEF military insignia displays the battalion number “24” under “C” (Canada), executed in brass. Produced for wear on service dress uniforms, it represents a collectable example of WW1 Canadian Army militaria and Commonwealth military history. The reverse retains the original manufacturer marking “TIPTAFT, B’HAM” and standard fittings for secure attachment.
