Seaforth Highlanders glengarry badge produced as a restrike of the pattern worn by the Seaforth Highlanders of the British Army. This Highland infantry glengarry badge displays the recognised insignia of the regiment in clear relief, incorporating the crowned stag’s head as the central device, with a scroll below bearing the motto “Cuidich ‘n Righ,” meaning “Help the King.” The design is arranged in a traditional Highland regimental composition characteristic of Scottish infantry headdress insignia worn on the glengarry bonnet.
The stag’s head emblem derives from the crest of the Earls of Seaforth, whose name and heraldry were adopted by the regiment. This badge reflects the Highland identity and long military tradition of the regiment, which served with distinction in numerous imperial campaigns as well as during both the First and Second World Wars. The regiment later amalgamated in 1961 with the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders to form the Queen’s Own Highlanders (Seaforth and Camerons).
