Serving in France from the 16th of March, 1915, Driver Blissett served in the 2nd L. Division, Territorial Army Service Corps (Territorial) as both a Driver and Transporter. He later served in the Transport and Supply Column from the 1st of September 1916 as a Driver (service number T4/241977). He was demobilised on the 1st of May 1919
