Czechoslovakian Vz.24 bayonet in scabbard, dated 1946, representing the post-war production of one of the most recognisable Czechoslovak military bayonet patterns. The Vz.24 bayonet was designed for use with the Vz.24 service rifle, the standard Czechoslovakian military rifle based on the Mauser 98 system. Its distinctive construction, substantial blade and Mauser-pattern mounting system make it an important and readily identifiable example of Central European military edged weaponry.

Condition: Good; one of the grip slabs is badly beaten, and the pommel is worn. The blade and scabbard are both in very good condition.
