Marked on the ricasso with the Austrian eagle on one side, indicating it being it being issued to the Austrian Army, with the other side marked “OEWG” (Österreichische Waffenfabriksgesellschaft, also known as Steyr). The frog bar on the scabbard is marked V&N (Vogel & Noot, Wartberg, Austria) with the Austrian eagle below
Dimensions: Approx. 360mm overall; blade approx. 245mm.
Condition: Good, with expected service wear, including minor grind marks, age-related marks and surface patina. Manufacturer markings remain identifiable. Complete with scabbard.
