3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales’s Dragoon Guards) anodised uniform button produced for wear on British Army cavalry regiment service dress and later post-war uniforms. This British Army cavalry button displays the recognised 3rd Carabiniers insignia in clear relief, incorporating the regiment’s cap badge design in anodised aluminium, which reflects the post-war transition to lightweight, corrosion-resistant uniform fittings adopted by the British Army.
3rd Carabiniers anodised buttons of this type were intended for wear on tunics and service dress uniforms and are collected as examples of British Army cavalry militaria, Cold War era uniform hardware, and regimental insignia. The reverse is fitted with a traditional shank fitting for secure attachment.
