An example of trench art, this piece repurposes an original British 105mm RW297 brass shell case, dated 1978, into an ashtray.

This shell case has been carefully modified into a functional decorative piece, often created as a souvenir of their service. The original headstamp markings remain clear on the base, reading “105MMFd / RW297 / LOT 10 (Broad Arrow) / RLB / 1978”

Condition: Very good. Headstamp is fairly legible. Structurally solid.
