British L1A4 SLR Bayonet, Dated 1971. Approved in the late 1950s, however, wasn’t produced until the 1970s. Most of the differences are in its internal construction. The L1A4 used the simplified crosspiece, introduced on late L1A3 bayonets, but returned to the long fuller.
Marked on the grip “L1A3, 9600257, D71” and a “C” in a square on one side of the pommel and “R” in a square on the reverse. Some unknown markings on the ricasso
Condition: Excellent, almost as new
