French M1886/93/16 Lebel Bayonet in Scabbard with a brass hilt, with the removed cross-guard and quillon, complete in a steel scabbard. Adopted by the French army in 1916 to replace the earlier 1886 and 1886/93 patterns with an improved, field-strippable handle and long narrow 518mm cruciform épée-style blade, issued until the end of the Second World War in France as well as several other nations.
