Matching pair of original Herefordshire Light Infantry anodised aluminium collar badges, introduced in the 1950s following the widespread adoption of anodised insignia across the British Army. These lightweight and durable badges were worn on Service Dress and No. 2 Dress by members of this distinguished Territorial Army county regiment.
Each badge displays the regiment’s characteristic Bugle Horn, the traditional symbol of light infantry regiments, surmounted by a Lion and the regimental motto “MANU FORTI” (with a strong hand). The crisp, bright finish typical of anodised production makes these badges particularly attractive for display or uniform restoration.
Ideal for collectors of Territorial Army insignia, post-war light infantry badges, and county regiment militaria.
