Imperial German Seitengewehr 98/05 Butcher Bayonet, made for the commonly used Mauser Gewehr 1898 rifle, Prussian and dated 1918 on the spine. The ricasso is marked “Alex Coppel, Solingen”.
Overall condition: Excellent, blade near mint, scabbard has some minor rust spots but retains almost all of its original blacked finish.
