Inert Reproduction US Mk. II Grenade or the M21 training grenade with the modern M228 training grenade fuse.
The Mk 2 “Pineapple” grenade, was a US anti-personnel fragmentation grenade used from 1918 to 1969. It became the standard grenade during World War II, with continued use in the Korean War and Vietnam War. Despite being replaced by the M26 series during the Korean War, its massive production during WWII kept it in limited use until fully retired in 1969, replaced by the M33/M67 series.
