Original WWII US Mk. II Pineapple Grenade c.1944-45 with the M10A3 fuse. Marked on 2 of the segments “A”.
The Mk 2 “Pineapple” grenade, was a US anti-personnel fragmentation grenade used from 1918 to 1969. It became the standard grenade during World War II, with continued use in the Korean War and Vietnam War. Despite being replaced by the M26 series during the Korean War, its massive production during WWII kept it in limited use until fully retired in 1969, replaced by the M33/M67 series.
Condition: Very good, little to no original finish left
