Royal Irish Regiment (Pre-1902 Pattern) Cap Badge, Restrike

Royal Irish Regiment cap badge, following the pre-1902 pattern worn during the Victorian era. The badge features the Crown of Queen Victoria (QVC) above a harp with scrolls reading “THE ROYAL IRISH REGIMENT”.

The design was adopted prior to 1901 and worn through to the coronation of Edward VII in 1901. This restrike retains the original die-struck pattern’s proportions and detail, making it a suitable example for display or replacement in a period collection.

Excellent overall condition with light age toning to the metal. Fittings remain firm and intact.
