Royal Marine Artillery (RMA) (Pre-1923 Pattern) Cap Badge, Restrike
This is a restrike cap badge of the Royal Marine Artillery, made to the pattern used before the unit was amalgamated into the Royal Marines in 1923. The design features the Royal Marine Artillery flaming grenade, modelled on the originals worn from the late Victorian period through the First World War, and restrikes such as this provide an accessible alternative to scarce and fragile originals.
Well die-struck with clean definition, the badge accurately captures the appearance and proportions of the historical RMA design. The reverse retains the standard lug fittings for attaching the badge to a cap.
Dimensions
Approx. 28mm x 42mm
Condition
Excellent, with sharp detail and an even finish throughout. The reverse lugs remain intact and firmly secured, and the surface exhibits only very light wear from handling.
