South Staffordshire Regiment collar badges worn before 1949. The design features the Stafford knot, a long-standing emblem of the county. Struck in brass metal for other ranks’ service dress, these badges were worn in pairs on the collars of tunics and battledress. Reverse retains original lug for attachment.
