Description
US M1917 Sword Bayonet (Remington, 1917) for the Model 1917 30-06 Rifle. Complete in steel mounted P14 brown leather scabbard. Ricasso marked ‘1917 Remington’ on one side and “U.S, Flaming Grenade” on the other. Steel pommel, rounded slab walnut grips held by slot head bolts and slotted round nuts. As issued to the British Home Guard during the Second World War.
Condition: Very good, little original finish outside the pommel and cross-guard. Scabbard is missing the belt fitting
