British Rifle Regiment/Light Infantry Drummer’s or Bandsman’s Sword, complete in brass mounted black leather scabbard. Circa 1850s-60s.
Overall condition: Good, leather has shrunk meaning it doesn’t take the whole blade comfortably and it has a minor crease about 2/3s of the way towards the chape. Possible miscasting in the hilt, meaning there’s a small gap/hole in the grip just above the bugle. Pitting in places on the blade. Chape is fairly dented. Locket is loose but easily repairable.
