18mm brass button worn by the 15th Punjab Regiment of the British Indian Army during the period 1922 to 1947, following the major post–First World War reorganisation of Indian infantry regiments.


Description

This standard-pattern regimental button features:

  • The distinctive “15″ central numeral and “PUNJAB” scroll

  • Constructed in brass with a smooth, bordered domed profile and sharp die-struck detail.

  • Reverse fitted with a fixed shank and often bearing either British or Indian manufacturer marks.
