An original anodised aluminium collar badge for the 16th/5th (Queen’s) Royal Lancers, later worn by the Queen’s Royal Lancers following amalgamation. This post-1950s pattern badge is struck in stay-brite anodised metal, designed for low-maintenance wear on service dress. The design features the regiment’s crossed lances with pennons, with the design of the former 16th The Queen’s Lancers and the 5th Royal Irish Lancers over a scroll bearing the regimental title, surmounted by the Queen’s Crown. Reverse retains the original eyed lug fitting for attachment.
