An original Australian Commonwealth Military Forces collar badge, featuring the Rising Sun design worn from 1904 to 1949 by members of the Australian Imperial Force (AIF) during both World War I and World War II.
Struck in copper, this pattern features the classic “AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH MILITARY FORCES” scroll beneath a sunburst and central King’s Crown. This version, with its distinctive pre-1950 design, reflects Australia’s early 20th-century military heritage before the introduction of the updated post-1949 badge.
The reverse is fitted with original east-west-eyed lugs

Good original condition with age-related wear and patina. Fixings intact.
