Sydney University Regiment (SUR) of the Australian Officer Training Army Reserve, bearing the Queen’s Crown, used between 1953 and 1997.

The badge features the iconic University of Sydney arms, surmounted by the Queen’s Crown and features a circlet reading “Sydney University Regiment”. Formed in 1900, SUR has played a key role in developing officer cadets through the Australian Army’s training systems.

Struck in bronzed brass, this badge would have been worn on the service dress cap by officer cadets and staff of the regiment throughout the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Condition: Very good, some mild wear to the highlights.
