BELGIUM CROIX de FEUR – MEDAL full size
The ‘Croix Du Feu’ or Fire Cross originated with a document called the ‘Carte du Feu’, which indicated that the bearer had served at the front, under fire, for certain minimum periods. In April 1933 a distinctive badge was provided for holders of the document and in February 1934 the ‘Croix Du Feu’ was established.
Ribbon: 36 mm Red with three narrow stripes, one central and one near each edge.
