British Army issue double-bladed pocket knife, pattern CC1286, manufactured by H.M. Slater Ltd., Sheffield, and clearly dated 1952. This post–Second World War utility knife represents the standard folding pattern issued to British service personnel during the Korean War and early Cold War era.

The knife features two stainless blades – a primary cutting blade and a secondary hooked blade for cutting holes and opening cans – both folding neatly into robust stainless steel scales, which are stamped “H.M. SLATER / SHEFFIELD / CC1286 / (Broad Arrow) / 1952”, confirming maker, date, and official stores reference. The liner also doubles up as a flathead screwdriver.

These knives were widely issued to all arms of service, including infantry, Royal Engineers, and Royal Navy personnel, and remain highly regarded for their simple, reliable design.
