British Victorian 1845 Pattern Infantry Officer’s Sword in Scabbard. No clear markings or etching remaining. 820mm long, slightly curved blade straight blade with an ornate hinged brass hand guard bearing Queen Victoria’s cypher, complete with wire-bound ray skin hilt, in a brass-mounted leather scabbard with 2 belt rings and brass chape.

Condition: Poor. The blade is pitted throughout with several chips in the blade, mostly towards the tip. The handguard is misshapen but complete. The scabbard is broken in several places, most severely towards the chape, which has been cut at an angle, causing the blade to poke out slightly.
