An original curved brass shoulder title reading “CORNWALL”, worn by the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry (DCLI) from circa 1881 through to the early years of the First World War. This pattern was introduced following the Childers Reforms, which reorganised the British Army’s infantry regiments.

Worn by other ranks on the shoulder straps of service dress and khaki drill uniforms, along with a light infantry/rifles bugle above. This style was largely replaced by the one-piece design after 1914.

Condition: Good. Complete with original lugs to the reverse.

Dimensions: approx. 50mm x 23mm

Weight 0.1 kg
