A scarce original Victorian era Corps of Royal Engineers cap badge, 1898–1901 pattern. Die-struck brass construction featuring the crowned Garter belt with “Royal Engineers” surrounding the Royal Cypher “VR” (Victoria Regina). Complete with original east-west eyed lugs on the reverse.

Condition: Good, crown slightly bent

Dimensions: Approx. 43mm x 38mm

A genuine and early example worn during the late Victorian period and the Second Boer War. Ideal for collectors of original British Army insignia, Victorian military badges, and Royal Engineers memorabilia.
