Czechoslovakian Commemorative Medal Of The Czechoslovak Army Abroad 1939-1945

An original Czechoslovak commemorative medal of the Czechoslovak Army Abroad, awarded to military personnel who served with the Czechoslovak forces outside occupied Czechoslovakia during World War II. The bronze medal on the obverse depicts a sword through a wreath with the Czech lion on the bottom in white metal, with the reverse reads in raised lettering “Czechoslovenska armáda v zahranici” (or “Czechoslovak Army Abroad”) and the years “1939–1945″. Complete with its original ribbon in maroon and black strips, fitted with a suspension ring.
