Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry (DCLI) cap badge produced as a restrike of the pattern worn from 1881 until the regiment’s amalgamation in 1959. This British Army light infantry cap badge displays the recognised insignia of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry in clear relief, incorporating the light infantry bugle with a scroll bearing the regiment’s county of Cornwall, surmounted by the ducal crown, arranged in a formal and balanced composition characteristic of line and light infantry headdress insignia.

Manufactured in a bright white metal finish consistent with service dress and beret wear, this restrike example offers a sharply defined representation of the original pattern. Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry cap badges are collected as examples of British Army infantry militaria, county regiment insignia, and pre-amalgamation regimental uniform hardware.
