A contemporary miniature of the Indian Police Medal (IPM) for Distinguished Conduct as issued during the reign of King George VI (1936–1952). Miniatures were privately purchased for mess dress or undress uniform and closely follow the design of the official full-size award.

A high-quality miniature representation of the George VI–era IPM:

Form: Circular medal in gilt bronze.

Obverse: Left-facing effigy of King George VI and legend “GEORGIVS VI D:G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP.” (pre-1948).

Reverse: Central wreath enclosing the inscription:
“INDIAN / FOR DISTINGUISHED CONDUCT / POLICE”, -
Suspension: Correct fixed straight suspension with a small ring mount.
