Obverse: Head of King Vittorio Emanuele III in helmet facing left, inscribed ‘GUERRA PER L’UNITA D’ITALIA 1915 1918’. Medal is signed ‘S. CANEVARI’, with maker’s name ‘SACCHINI – MILANO’.
Reverse: Winged Victory figure on shields held above the helmeted heads of soldiers. Inscribed; ‘CONIATA ‘NEL BRONZO NEMICO’ (Coined [Made] From Enemy Bronze).
