Japanese Model 1897 Type 30 Arisaka Bayonet

Japanese Type 30 Model 1897 bayonet for the Arisaka 30 rifle and later used on the Arisaka 38 and 99. This is the pre-1942 model with the J-shaped hook quillon, bird head pommel and contoured grips. The butt of the pommel is marked “7663” with a series and acceptance stamp in Japanese. No visible makers marks.

Condition: Very good, minor dent in the scabbard.
