19mm brass button from King Edward’s Horse (The King’s Overseas Dominions Regiment), worn during the period 1901–1924. This volunteer cavalry regiment, composed largely of men from Britain’s overseas Dominions, served with distinction during the First World War, particularly on the Western Front, where it operated as both mounted troops and dismounted infantry as required.

The button features the regiment’s initials “KEH” with the King’s (Tudor) crown above. These buttons were typically produced by leading military outfitters and remain highly collectable due to the regiment’s relatively small size and short service life.

A desirable piece for collectors of pre-1924 British cavalry insignia, Commonwealth-related units, and Great War volunteer regiments.
