Restrike cap badge of the British American Squadron of the King’s Colonials, the imperial yeomanry regiment established c. 1906 to represent volunteers from across the dominions. Each squadron carried its own distinctive badge, and the British American Squadron’s version features the iconic American beaver beset by a maple leaf, symbolising the Canadian contingent within the regiment, with the scroll “BRITISH AMERICAN” below.

Struck in gilding metal, the badge reproduces the crisp detailing of the early 20th-century originals. As typical of restrike manufacture, it is clean and sharply finished, with modern lug fittings on the reverse for cap attachment.

Dimensions
Approx. 43mm x 47mm

Condition
Excellent, with sharp detail, bright gilding, and no wear beyond minor handling marks. The lugs are intact and firmly fixed.
