A matching pair of original King’s Own Royal Regiment (Lancaster) gilding metal collar badges, manufactured to the long-running 1889–1959 pattern. This design was worn from the late Victorian era through both World Wars and into the mid-20th century, making it one of the regiment’s most recognisable insignia forms.
Each badge features the regiment’s passant lion, similar to the one seen on the cap badge. These badges were worn on the Service Dress and later Battledress uniforms of officers and other ranks, seeing extensive use across campaigns in South Africa, the Western Front, the interwar period, and WWII.
Ideal for collectors of British infantry insignia, Lancashire regiments, or units with extended multi-era service.
