An original King’s Shropshire Light Infantry (KSLI) brass shoulder title, of the 1921–1968 Pattern, worn on service dress and battledress uniforms throughout the interwar years, Second World War, and into the early post-war period. The KSLI served with distinction in multiple theatres, including North-West Europe, Burma, and later during the regiment’s service in Germany and the Far East, before amalgamating into The Light Infantry in 1968.
The title is of the single-line design, die-stamped in brass and reading “K.S.L.I.” in bold serifed capitals, with two integral loop fittings to the reverse for uniform attachment.
