Lincolnshire Regiment collar badges, 1898–1948 pattern for the Lincolnshire Regiment. Each badge features the regiment’s male sphinx emblem over the battle honour Egypt. This design was worn on service dress tunics from the late Victorian era through both World Wars, until the regiment’s redesignation in 1948 as the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment. Struck in white metal for other ranks, these collar badges were worn in facing pairs, as offered here. Both retain lugs on the reverse.
