A miniature version of the New Zealand Police Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, awarded to recognise extended, exemplary service within the New Zealand Police and Traffic Officers. Instituted in the latter part of the 20th century, the medal reflects the professional standards, discipline, and dedication expected of officers serving in one of the Commonwealth’s most respected policing organisations. The obverse carries the crowned effigy of Elizabeth II, while the reverse bears a representation of St Edward’s Crown, a sceptre, and sword resting on a cushion surrounded by an oak and fern frond wreath. This is surrounded by the inscription “New Zealand Police—For Long Service and Good Conduct”.

Very good condition with crisp, well-defined detail to the medal surfaces and only minimal age or handling wear. The original ribbon remains present and shows good colour retention, with no fraying or damage.
