North Irish Horse white metal uniform button produced to the 1902–1953 pattern, covering the period from the regiment’s formation in the early Edwardian era through the Second World War and into the early post-war years. This British Army Yeomanry and cavalry button displays the recognised insignia of the North Irish Horse in clear relief, typical of early 20th-century British military uniform buttons.

North Irish Horse buttons of this pattern were intended for wear on tunics and service dress uniforms and are collected as examples of British Army Yeomanry insignia, Irish regiment militaria, and historic uniform components spanning the Edwardian, First World War, and Second World War periods. The reverse is fitted with a traditional shank fitting for secure attachment.
