White metal tunic button of the North Somerset Yeomanry, produced to the King’s Crown pattern used from 1902 until the mid-20th century. The design features a scalloped rim with a King’s Crown in the centre, encircled by the text “North Somerset Yeomanry”. These buttons were worn on full dress and service dress uniforms by members of the regiment, a yeomanry cavalry unit with origins dating back to the 18th century.

The button is die-struck white metal with good relief, showing the characteristic detailing of early–mid 20th century military manufacture. The reverse retains its original fixed shank, typical of the period.

Diameter
23mm

Condition
Very good, with an aged patina and sharp detail to the device. The shank remains intact and secure, with only light surface wear consistent with age.
