An original Officer’s Service Dress (OSD) bronze collar badge for the Northamptonshire Regiment, worn between 1902 and circa 1934. This pattern was introduced following the death of Queen Victoria and remained in use until early WWII-era uniform changes.

The badge features the regiment’s distinctive emblem: the castle and key of Gibraltar below a scroll reading “GIBRALTAR”, enclosing a laurel wreath. Below the castle of Gibraltar sits a second scroll reading “Talavera” and the regimental title: “NORTHAMPTONSHIRE”. The reverse is fitted with two east-west-eyed lugs.

This badge would have been worn as part of the standard paired set on the officer’s tunic

Condition: Very Good – Sharp detail and rich bronze tone; both blades present and secure.
Dimensions: Approx. 48mm x 44mm (same size as the cap badge)
