Original matched pair of British Army Pioneer Corps officers’ collar badges, in the 1940–1946 pattern, worn during World War II. Struck in bronze, these badges were worn on the service dress uniforms of commissioned officers in the Pioneer Corps – the unit responsible for labour, construction, and logistical support across all theatres of war.

Each badge features crossed rifles, a pickaxe motif and the regimental motto “Labor omnia vincit” beneath the King’s Crown. This design was in use until the corps was granted the “Royal” title in 1946, after which the pattern was updated.

Fitted with north-south-eyed lugs on the reverse

Condition: Very good. A well-matched pair with crisp detail and minor service wear.

Dimensions: approx. 35mm x 28mm
