Queen’s Own Hussars (QOH) anodised collar badges: a matching pair of British Army regimental collar badges bearing the regimental title “The Queen’s Own Hussars” on a scroll below. The regiment was formed in 1958 through the amalgamation of the 3rd The King’s Own Hussars and the 7th Queen’s Own Hussars, combining the traditions and cavalry heritage of both historic regiments.
Manufactured in anodised aluminium, these lightweight badges were designed for wear on British Army service and ceremonial uniform and represent the post-1958 period of Queen’s Own Hussars insignia. The QOH design provides clear identification of the regiment and reflects the continued use of traditional cavalry insignia following the transition from the older heavy metal uniform appointments. This matching pair is suitable for collectors of Queen’s Own Hussars militaria, British cavalry badges, anodised aluminium insignia, regimental collar badges and post-war British Army uniform.
Dimensions
Approx. 36mm x 26mm each.
Condition
Good overall condition with light age-related wear. Both badges retain clear definition to the lettering and remain suitable for display as a matching pair.
