Queen’s Own Hussars (QOH) brass shoulder title, a British Army regimental shoulder title bearing the abbreviated initials “QOH” for the Queen’s Own Hussars. Formed in 1958 through the amalgamation of the 3rd The King’s Own Hussars and the 7th Queen’s Own Hussars, the regiment retained the traditions, battle honours and cavalry heritage of its predecessor regiments.
Produced in brass for wear on service uniform, this shoulder title is representative of British cavalry insignia and is of interest to collectors of Queen’s Own Hussars militaria, British Army shoulder titles, cavalry uniform and post-war regimental insignia. The compact QOH design was used to identify personnel of the regiment on battledress and service dress, providing a straightforward example of British Army regimental identification insignia. Suitable for collections covering the Queen’s Own Hussars, British armoured cavalry and post-1958 British military uniform.
Dimensions
Approx. 30mm x 10mm.
