Victorian-period button of the Queen’s Own Worcestershire Yeomanry Cavalry, produced to the long-serving 1837–1887 pattern, before being renamed the “Queen’s Own Worcestershire Hussars”. The design features the regiment’s distinctive crowned centre, encircled by the text “QUEEN’S OWN WYC”. Worn on full dress and service garments, buttons of this pattern were standard throughout much of the regiment’s 19th-century existence.

Struck in white metal. The reverse is fitted with the original loop shank, consistent with mid-19th-century production styles.

Condition
Very good, with light, even wear from age. The design remains clearly defined, and the shank is intact and firmly set.
